Little Storytellers is a place to celebrate imagination and connection. We make books, art, film and music with content for children because we love creating and this may inspire the wild, free nature of creating in others!
Little Storytellers is a hub for Nature lovers, writers, artists and song-makers, storytellers, inventive thinkers, explorers, dreamers, dancers and playful things who like to connect with people, plants and animals of all ages. Here you can find a juicy book to nose through, colourful songs to listen to, and film clips to entertain and possibly inform.
Growing our connection with life and the unseen worlds through art and craft, imaginary play and many other nourishing ways to express creates health and encourages us all to live lightly. We feel that children are one of our most valuable treasures and are precious beyond words.

Our Story
Little Storytellers began many moons ago when the small peanut of a womb-baby and a seedling idea swam together in the waters of the mighty Ganga River in India. Dani first conceived of a children’s story with her sister Nicky while travelling through Rishikesh when she was five months pregnant.
Remy was born in 2009. She has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil and smear paint. She brings ideas and stories, revelations and illustrations, wonder and magic to Little Storytellers. Remy has a very large collection of handmade books at home. She gets excited about macaroons. She started ballet dancing when she was 3 years old and her dream is to be a ballerina at the Paris Opera House.
Dani, her mum, has a talent for scribbles and writing, visions and songs. Dani has a Masters in Psychology from Manchester University in the UK. She worked for charities supporting the environment, arts and at-risk young people in both the UK and Australia for most of her working life. She is also a musician. She play piano and guitar and sings. They both like cart-wheeling, friends and family, and running around the garden in the nuddy when it rains.
Little Storytellers is a space providing meaningful and playful resources for children, parents, carers and teachers. We aim to support children’s development and encourage the view that they are care-takers and life-changers. They grow by the simple way they are treated through their childhoods.
